Knowing God as Father reshapes how adults understand identity, security, and purpose, because Jesus not only shows the way to the Father but reveals the Father’s true heart. Jesus’ life demonstrates that the Father is not distant or harsh, but deeply loving, present, and committed to restoring His children. When we embrace God as Father, we confront the orphan spirit—those patterns of rejection, insecurity, striving, and isolation that form when we don’t know we belong. Scripture reminds us that through Christ we are adopted, fully accepted, and invited to live as God’s beloved sons and daughters, not as spiritual outsiders. This identity brings unshakable security, because nothing and no one can remove us from the Father’s hand. From that place of love and belonging, we serve God not out of fear or performance, but out of a desire to please the Father just as Jesus did.
