//WE BELIEVE

1. Covenant Christian Community is an Interdenominational Fellowship
In association with Grace International, we are Charismatic in the full meaning of the word: i.e. forthright, unequivocally, solidly and boldly presenting a firm stand. Our firm stand pertains to the element of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In a day when a diluted message is producing diluted people, we stress a thorough proclamation of the Word of God emphasizing the four essential ministries of the Lord Jesus Christ to all who will believe:

Jesus Christ, the Savior (John 3:16; Acts 4:12)

Jesus Christ, the Baptizer (Mark 1:8; Acts 2:4)
Jesus Christ, the Healer (Hebrews 13:8; James 5:14-15)
Jesus Christ, the Coming King (John 14:3; 1Thessalonians 4:16-17)

2. As A New Testament Church We Emphasize

A. Adherence to the Word of God for spiritual works have historically fallen into error or imbalance when the Word has been neglected or disobeyed.

B. Exaltation of Lord Jesus Christ
for we acknowledge His Majesty in all realms, and His ministry to us as Saviour,
Baptizer, Healer and soon coming King.

C. The ministry of the Holy Spirit
whose objective is to glorify Jesus and who leads a responsive people into dimensions
of fruitfulness and fulfillment.

D. Interdenominational fellowship
for we recognize the unity of the Body of Christ. The Church being the sum of those
who have been born again by faith.

E. The ministry of the believer
for we believe the Spirit-filled Christian Is intended to become a fully authorized agent
of the Kingdom of God.

3. As A Believing Church We Stand On These Foundational Truths

Repentance and Forgiveness
Jesus said, "Repent for God's Kingdom is drawing near to you." (Matthew 4:17) The summons of the Saviour is to our acknowledgment and confession of sin, and its provision of a new life. God's eternal salvation is available only through His son whom He has given-that we might have life abundant in the present and life lasting in the future.  (John 3:16; 10:10; Matthew 10:31; Acts 4:10-12; Romans 5:1, 8:1)

Water Baptism
After declaring His Lordship in our lives, Jesus states in Matthew 28:19 that we are to follow Him in the waters of baptism. When the Gospel was first preached, those who heard were convinced of it's truth and asked the disciples what shall we do (to be saved)? Peter responded, "Repent and let everyone of you be baptized in the Name of Jesus in the waters of baptism after acknowledging Him as your Lord and Saviour." (Acts 2:38). If you desire this, please contact the church office and we will see you are advised as to when our Water Baptismal Services will be held.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Christ's promise in Acts 1:5 is as available and applicable today as it was when Jesus gave it. "You shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit." The promise of Acts 2:38-39 is to be taken seriously as well. This timeless blessing is ours for the receiving. Have you received the fullness of the Holy Spirit? We are prepared to minister to any believer in Jesus who wishes guidance or prayer in this regard.

Healing and Deliverance
We believe in the power of Jesus Christ to heal the sick and afflicted in answer to
believing prayer. Pastoral Staff are available following all services to minister the Grace of God according to James 5:14-16. We also recognize that much affliction is a result of a deeper need which spiritual guidance in the Word of God can remedy.
